All types and sizes of chain available ranging in size from 1.5mm to 20mm (wire diameter)

There are a large variety of sizes and materials available from us - listed below :

• DIN763 - Long link chain. Available in A2 and A4 stainless. Electro galvanised and Hot dip Galvanised.
• DIN766 - Short link chain. Available in the same materials as above.
• ISO4565 - Similar to Short link chain, but with slightly different dimensions. For instance this makes it suitable for the Lofrans type winch
• Straight link chain - this style of chain gives a different variety of sizes than the above 3, thus improving the size selction available for all chains
• G80 Lifting chain. This is manufactured from alloy steel and is coated using a cataphoresis process, to give it corrosion protection. You will see the same process used by car manufacturers for their suspension components. This chain has a Working Load limit and is Suitable for lifting
• Duplex Stainless. This chain gives very high corrosion resistance protection, even in warm sea waters. Because of the high strength of material, it can be used in applications that require a high working load limit. It is very costly, but this can be mitigated to a degree by the fact that smaller sizes can be used for the same strength.
• Anchor chain. We sell both galvanised and stainless anchor chain. This chain is calibrated to DIN766 or ISO4565. You choose the size of chain to suit the size of boat and the depth of anchoring. Your boat manufacturer or anchor supplier will advise you of this.

HOW TO INSTALL CHAIN - 

• Check the size and material required.
• Check what need to be connected to the chain - for instance a dee shackle : The pin on the dee shackle must go through the chain. This is determined by the inside width of the chain. This information is shown on our size charts and data sheets.
• make sure to check that the size you require is in the Bulk chain - highly discounted category - which may lead to cost savings on buying it per metre.
