Split Ring - 316 Stainless steel
Split ring in 6 different sizes, the 4 smallest rings have the same cross section D of 1.5mm with the next sizes up with a cross section diameter of the wire at 2 and 2.5mm. Outside diameter dimension available in 18mm 22mm 26mm and 30mm and 40mm. Marine grade stainless and 420C stainless (a material that suits the larger sizes due to its better wearing and strength characteristics) ensures rust proofing excellence. Opens in the same way as a conventional key ring. See our split cotter rings for a subtle variation.

For situations where standard split rings bend or deform under load, this 40mmx2.5mm 420C stainless steel ring provides a stronger, more rigid alternative. The hardened stainless steel construction offers excellent resistance to wear and distortion.

Its large diameter and thick wire make it suitable for attaching heavier tools, equipment tags, and accessories that require a robust fastening point. While strong, 420C is not marine grade, so it's best used in indoor or moderate exposure environments.
