Snap Hook with Eyelet - 316 Stainless steel
Snap Hook with Eyelet in marine grade stainless steel. The eyelet is used to encapulate rope in the snap hook, so there is no chance of it coming loose in the carbine hook. The gate is easy to open with one hand and snaps back shut when released, due to a spring steel element inside. Sizes of 5mm all the way up to 11mm. The 5mm snap hook has a length of 50mm, the 6mm snap hook has a length of 60mm, the 7mm carbine hook has a length of 70mm, the 8mm snaphook has a length of 80mm with an eye large enough for a 9mm rope. The largest size of 11mm cross section with a length of 120mm has an approximate break load of 1tonne. Note, this item is not to be used for lifting the break loads are guides only for use in product selection, such as gym equipment use.
