Tunbuckle or tensioner. Both sides of this tensioning device have a hook fixing. Rotating the body of the turnbuckle tensions it or releases it depending on the direction of turn. The threaded ends are left and right hand threads, ensuring that no rotation in the wire or rope occurs . Sizes available are M6 to M24 - this being the size of the thread. These are made to DIN1480 specification.
