Twisted shackles are used where an offset to the direction of the pin is create. To put it another way, they can connect two objects where one object is at 90 degrees. For example, a fixed pulley. They are manufactured in marine grade stainless giving superior corrosion resistance. Available in size 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm. Where the size is the diameter of the pin and diameter of the cross section of the body.

This 4mm A4 stainless steel twisted shackle is a compact, corrosion resistant connector designed for applications where the connection points do not naturally align. The 90 degree twist allows the shackle to rotate the load path, making it ideal for joining components that sit on different planes. Something a standard dee shackle cannot achieve.
