Wire Rope 1x19 PVC Covered - 316 Stainless steel
PVC covered wire rope avoids the wire abrading any surface it is in contact with. For instance, it is highly suited to applications where you may use a pulley or the wire runs over a roller. It also helps the wire grip the roller, where standard uncovered wire may slip. Use this wire where tight bends are'nt required. It can also be swaged like conventional wire. Where the outer coating is stripped when using in applications such as boat ballustrade. The PVC coating also gives colour to the wire.
Notes: Variations : 3mm Wire covered with PVC to 5mm outside diameter. 4mm Wire covered with PVC to 6mm outside diameter and 5mm Wire covered with PVC to 8mm outside diameter

This 4mm A4 stainless steel 1x19 wire rope with a 6mm PVC outer coating is a strong, semi rigid cable designed for medium duty structural and marine applications. The 1x19 stainless core provides excellent tensile strength and minimal stretch, making it ideal for straight runs and tensioned systems. The PVC jacket adds a protective layer that reduces wear, prevents metal to metal contact and improves handling comfort.

The increased outside diameter of 6mm gives the cable a more substantial appearance while offering additional protection against abrasion and impact. This makes it suitable for balustrades, guardrails, safety lines and marine installations where durability and a clean finish are essential.
