Wire Rope 1x19 PVC Covered - 316 Stainless steel
PVC covered wire rope avoids the wire abrading any surface it is in contact with. For instance, it is highly suited to applications where you may use a pulley or the wire runs over a roller. It also helps the wire grip the roller, where standard uncovered wire may slip. Use this wire where tight bends are'nt required. It can also be swaged like conventional wire. Where the outer coating is stripped when using in applications such as boat ballustrade. The PVC coating also gives colour to the wire.
Notes: Variations : 3mm Wire covered with PVC to 5mm outside diameter. 4mm Wire covered with PVC to 6mm outside diameter and 5mm Wire covered with PVC to 8mm outside diameter

This 3mm A4 stainless steel 1x19 wire rope with a 5mm PVC outer coating is a semi rigid, high strength cable designed for architectural, marine and safety applications where a clean finish and added protection are required. The 1x19 stainless core provides excellent tensile strength and minimal stretch, while the PVC jacket shields the wire from abrasion, impact and environmental exposure.

The smooth PVC coating increases the overall diameter to 5mm, making the cable safer to handle and ideal for applications where the wire may come into contact with people, equipment or surfaces.
